Qualifications

• Minimum 24 months IIROC/CIRO Investment Dealer registration.
• 5+ years in financial-services, investment, wealth-management or securities experience.
• Demonstrated success in business development, client acquisition or investment sales.
• Strong comfort discussing investments with high-net-worth individuals.
• Proven ability to influence and close business.
• CIM designation is important; the organization can fund accreditation if needed.

Responsibilities

• Work with a pipeline of warm, qualified prospective clients.
• Conduct discovery conversations to understand investors' goals and current portfolios.
• Present the firm's investment philosophy, services and value proposition.
• Build trust with high-net-worth clients.
• Lead virtual and telephone-based sales conversations.
• Convert qualified prospects into new clients.
• Transition new clients to dedicated relationship/portfolio-management teams.
• Maintain disciplined follow-up throughout the sales process.
• Focus on new business development and closing.
