Marqeta, Inc. is seeking a Staff Technical Recruiter to own end-to-end recruiting for Product and Technology, partnering with senior leaders to build critical teams.

This remote-first role offers flexibility to work from anywhere in Canada, including Ontario or British Columbia. The role sits within a high-visibility Talent Acquisition group and supports growth across product, software engineering and adjacent technical roles.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience focused on Product and Technology
• Experience recruiting across product and engineering disciplines
• Fintech/payments or highly regulated industry experience
• Strong communication with senior stakeholders
• Experience with modern ATS and interviewing scorecards

Responsibilities

• Partner with Product and Engineering leadership to understand hiring needs and create recruiting strategies
• Own full-cycle recruiting for Product and Technology roles from intake to offer
• Build and maintain pipelines of product, software engineering, and fintech talent
• Advise hiring managers on market data, leveling, and positioning Marqeta competitively
• Flex across disciplines, handling Product, Engineering, and adjacent technical searches
• Refine sourcing and interview processes, including technical assessments and coding/system design loops
