Job summary

Terminal, a Toronto-based hardware-infrastructure for telematics, is hiring a Founding Technical Recruiter to build and own its technical hiring function from the ground up. This senior role reports to the CEO and collaborates with the CTO and engineering leads to protect the company's technical bar as it scales.

You will run full-cycle recruiting across engineering and data, build recruitment processes, and run sourcing campaigns to secure senior and staff engineers in a competitive market.

Qualifications

• Senior in-house recruiter with 5+ years of recruiting experience.
• Closed senior and staff engineers in competitive markets, incl. compensation conversations with equity.
• Ability to source technically, read profiles, and engage senior/staff engineers.

Responsibilities

• Own technical recruiting end-to-end across engineering, data, and other technical roles.
• Own sourcing, screening, scheduling, references, offer, and close with no coordination layer.
• Build and maintain a live map of Toronto engineers to warm searches.
• Run outbound messaging reflecting Terminal's bar.
