Job summary

Sopra Steria in Montréal is hiring a Technical Recruiter to support Canada and the U.S. operations. You will lead end-to-end recruitment, build pipelines for IT roles, and coordinate onboarding with cross-functional partners. Expect a high-volume workflow with tight timelines and frequent collaboration with management.

You will report to the Senior Manager, Operations and help shape talent acquisition practices while ensuring a positive candidate and manager experience in a hybrid work setting.

Qualifications

• Three to five years of full-cycle recruitment experience.
• Experience recruiting technical or IT profiles is required.
• Ability to manage high-volume, multi-requisition workloads against tight deadlines.
• Proficient with Microsoft 365 (Outlook/Teams/Excel/SharePoint).
• Post-secondary diploma or degree in HR, business, or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Lead full-cycle recruitment from intake through offers and onboarding.
• Conduct intake meetings to define role requirements and compensation ranges.
• Perform competency-based and technical interviews and present shortlisted candidates.
• Maintain audit-ready ATS records and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Collaborate with hiring managers, delivery leads, and operations across Canada/US.
