Job summary

Jobgether is partnering to fill a Senior SDET role focused on agentic quality in Canada. You will drive automation, improve test frameworks, and build AI-assisted workflows across unit to end-to-end testing, while contributing to production tooling.

The role emphasizes collaboration with international teams, strong automation expertise, and the ability to align with a remote-friendly, AI-driven development environment.

Qualifications

• At least eight years of professional software development experience.
• At least five years building and maintaining test automation as an SDET or similar role.
• Hands-on experience with unit, integration, and end-to-end testing.
• Experience with Playwright or Cypress for browser automation.
• Proven ownership of CI pipelines using GitHub Actions or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Strengthen automated test suites, improve reliability, and expand coverage.
• Own and evolve shared test frameworks across testing levels.
• Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines and quality gates.
• Build agentic quality tooling including AI-powered test design and verification.
• Support safe releases with production monitoring and quality signals.
