Job summary

Jobgether, on behalf of our partner, seeks a Sr. Automation Engineer, Falcon Complete, based in Canada. You will lead automation design for MDR capabilities, build agentic AI-enabled pipelines, and drive reliable security automation across cross-functional teams.

Ideal candidates bring 6–10 years in automation/dev, strong CI/CD, Docker/Kubernetes, and cloud experience. You will mentor engineers, participate in on-call rotations, and influence architectural decisions to enhance threat detection,

Qualifications

• 6–10 years of automation engineering, software development, scripting or related field.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience; certifications may be accepted in place of degree.
• Proficiency in at least one major language: Go, Python, JavaScript, C++, or Java.
• Foundational knowledge of LLMs, agentic AI, and AI in engineering workflows.
• Experience building enterprise-grade web services and data pipelines with reliability.
• Hands-on with Git and CI/CD pipelines.
• Cloud knowledge and databases (PostgreSQL), messaging (Kafka), Docker and Kubernetes.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end design and implementation of automation features for MDR capabilities.
• Architect and build automation pipelines across tools and platforms.
• Analyze cybersecurity challenges and deliver scalable automation solutions.
• Collaborate with analysts, engineering teams, and stakeholders to deliver automation products.
• Develop reliable web services and data pipelines to support operations.
• Improve resilience and observability of services; participate in on-call rotations.
• Mentor engineers and promote engineering standards and best practices.
• Identify opportunities to reduce repetitive work through automation and AI integration.
• Evaluate new technologies and apply AI-driven approaches to improve security workflows.
