Job summary

Jobgether partner company seeks a Senior Software Quality Engineer based in Canada. You will own end-to-end quality strategy for a cloud infrastructure platform, designing scalable automated testing frameworks for backend services and UIs, and guiding product teams toward higher reliability.

In a remote-first environment, you will integrate AI-assisted testing, support CI/CD with GitHub Actions/Jenkins, and collaborate across engineering and product to reduce risk and accelerate delivery.

Qualifications

• At least seven years in QA or software testing.
• Minimum two years in senior or staff level roles.
• Experience designing and maintaining automated testing frameworks.
• Hands-on CI/CD integration using modern tools.
• Familiarity with AI-assisted quality tools for review and planning.

Responsibilities

• Lead scalable automated testing frameworks for backend services and UIs.
• Define test strategies aligned with product goals and reliability.
• Improve testability early in development with cross-team collaboration.
• Participate in architecture discussions to identify reliability risks.
• Integrate test suites into CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions/Jenkins).
• Perform exploratory testing to find usability issues and edge cases.
• Apply AI-assisted tools to review PRs and test plans.
• Manage multiple projects with strict testing standards.
• Investigate backend/infrastructure issues via debugging and root-cause analysis.
• Advocate for quality across the SDLC and drive improvements.
