Job summary

Blacksmith Agency in Canada is seeking a Search Marketing Manager to own paid media for a book of B2B and growing-brand clients. You are the strategic voice at the table, making the calls on targeting, budgets, roadmap, and narrative during client discussions.

You will manage paid media across Google Ads, Meta, LinkedIn and Microsoft Ads, handle budgeting, bidding, testing, and timely campaign termination. Strong English on US calls is required.

Qualifications

• 3+ years hands-on in Google Ads and Meta: you have built, run and optimized the campaigns yourself.

Responsibilities

• Own paid media across Google Ads, Meta, LinkedIn and Microsoft Ads for your accounts.
• Manage budget allocation, bidding, targeting and creative testing, and know when to kill a campaign.
• Set up and verify conversion tracking with GA4, tag manager and platform pixels to ensure accurate attribution.
• Create 90-day and quarterly roadmaps for each client and present the story behind the numbers on client calls.
• Drive account growth through retention, upsell and long-term client relationships.
