Job summary

Jobgether seeks an IT Operations & Cybersecurity Specialist based in Canada. You will manage day-to-day IT administration, support users, and maintain secure environments for multiple clients in a remote, async-friendly setting.

You’ll work with Microsoft 365/Google Workspace, MDM tools, and automation to keep systems compliant and operational, while contributing to security initiatives and incident response documentation.

Qualifications

• 2+ years hands-on experience in IT operations or related technical role.
• Experience with Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace administration and security policies.
• Familiarity with MDM tools and device enrollment.

Responsibilities

• Provision and manage user accounts, groups, permissions, and licences across Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace.
• Prepare and onboard Windows and macOS laptops into MDM platforms and coordinate remote handovers.
• Handle first-line support requests, including password resets and access issues, escalating complex incidents.
• Conduct weekly maintenance checks on software patches, backups, and security alerts.
• Document fixes, SOPs, and runbooks to improve consistency and efficiency.
• Dedicate ~20% of time to security initiatives including CVE research and incident-response playbooks.
• Identify opportunities to streamline IT workflows and improve service delivery for distributed clients.
