Job summary

Spait Infotech is seeking a skilled Cybersecurity Engineer to join our IT security team in Canada. This onsite role focuses on implementing, managing, and enhancing security controls across networks, systems, and cloud environments, with exposure to enterprise-level security initiatives and compliance management.

You will design and enforce security infrastructure, monitor alerts, perform vulnerability assessments and incident response, and coordinate with IT/DevOps for secure configurations.

Qualifications

• 4–8 years of hands-on cybersecurity experience.
• Experience with firewall management (Palo Alto, Fortinet, Cisco ASA) and SIEM (Splunk, Sentinel, QRadar).
• Cloud security in Azure/AWS/GCP and adherence to security frameworks ISO/NIST/GDPR/SOC 2.
• Hands-on experience with endpoint protection and identity management systems.

Responsibilities

The ideal candidate will be responsible for implementing, managing, and enhancing security controls across networks, systems, and cloud environments. • Hands-on experience with endpoint protection and identity management systems.
• Relevant certifications such as CEH, CompTIA Security+, CISSP, or Azure Security Engineer are an advantage.
