Job summary

Jobgether is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer based in Canada for a fully remote role supporting international payment platforms. You will design, build, and modernize AWS cloud infrastructure, develop CI/CD pipelines, and automate deployments to ensure reliability at scale.

You will work with Terraform, Ansible, Kubernetes, Docker, OpenShift, Python/Bash/Go, and monitoring via Grafana/Prometheus. The role emphasizes security, performance, and cloud migrations across global teams.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional experience in DevOps, cloud engineering, or platform engineering.
• Strong hands-on experience designing, implementing, and maintaining AWS cloud environments.
• Advanced Linux administration and troubleshooting skills.
• Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins.
• Strong knowledge of Terraform and IaC principles.
• Experience with Ansible or similar configuration management tools.
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and containerized environments.
• Experience with Docker and OpenShift.
• Scripting in Python, Bash, or Go for automation.
• Experience with Grafana and Prometheus for monitoring.
• Good understanding of networking, security, and reliability.
• Experience supporting enterprise-scale production environments and international collaboration.
• Strong English communication skills (B2+ to C1).

Responsibilities

• Design, build, configure, and maintain AWS cloud infrastructure for critical apps.
• Develop and optimize CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins.
• Automate provisioning with Terraform and Ansible.
• Deploy and manage Kubernetes, Docker, and OpenShift environments.
• Administer Linux production systems and resolve issues.
• Create automation scripts using Python, Bash, or Go.
• Implement and maintain monitoring with Grafana and Prometheus.
• Investigate incidents and performance bottlenecks in production.
• Improve reliability, scalability, and security of systems.
• Support cloud migrations and modernization efforts.
• Collaborate with international teams to improve workflows.
