Job summary

OKTO Solutions in Trois-Rivières is hiring a Level 1 IT Specialist to diagnose and resolve remote incidents for Quebec SMBs, with a clear path to level 2. You will support workstations, Windows 11, Microsoft 365 and peripherals as part of a bilingual team.

You will gain hands-on field experience, with the option for on-site or remote work after training, and a supportive, inclusive environment focused on growth.

Qualifications

• DEP, AEC, or DEC in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
• 6 months to 1 year of IT support experience.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Strong command of spoken and written French.
• Willingness to travel to client sites occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Analyzing support requests to assess urgency and impact.
• Applying established procedures and escalating when required.
• Remotely install, configure and troubleshoot workstations, software, peripherals and mobile devices.
• Providing clear and professional follow-up with clients throughout the process.
• Document interventions and keep internal systems up to date.
• Take part in the service desk on-call rotation.
