Job summary

Flexspring, Inc. is seeking an Integration Specialist to design, build, and support custom HR, payroll, and financial integrations. You will work with HR, Payroll, Finance, and IT stakeholders to translate requirements into reliable, scalable solutions throughout discovery to post-go-live support.

You’ll own end-to-end integration projects, communicate clearly with clients, and drive successful deployments in a fully remote environment. Knowledge of HRIS/payroll integrations is highly valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Software Engineering, CS or related field or equivalent experience.
• Fluency in English is required.
• Solid backend development experience with Java.
• Experience with Groovy or JVM-based languages.
• Experience with React or similar frontend frameworks.
• Hands-on experience building or supporting API‑based integrations (REST, SOAP, GraphQL).
• Familiarity with file‑based integrations (SFTP, CSV, XML, JSON).
• Knowledge of HRIS/Payroll integrations is strongly preferred.
• Exposure to ERP/financial systems and payroll reporting impact is a plus.
• Ability to explain technical concepts to non‑technical stakeholders.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
• High ownership mindset and ability to work fully remote.

Responsibilities

• Develop and code integrations based on client requirements using Flexspring’s framework.
• Collaborate with Project Managers on data mappings and specs.
• Perform integration testing, support UAT, and lead go-live activities.
• Document integration logic and configuration details for clients and teams.
• Troubleshoot production integration issues and meet SLAs.
• Communicate clearly with clients and internal teams throughout development and support.
• Document investigation steps and resolutions in Salesforce Service Cloud.
• Advance support cases to resolution with cross‑functional teams.
