Billyard Insurance Group is seeking a Sales Broker in the Hamilton area. You will build a personal book of business, leveraging a national brokerage, AI-driven tools, and strong training to deliver tailored insurance solutions for individuals and businesses.

You’ll generate leads, assess client needs, present competitive quotes, and close new business while maintaining compliance and prioritizing client trust. This role offers uncapped commissions and flexible work options.

Qualifications

• Active RIBO license in good standing or willingness to convert to OTL before start.
• 2+ years in insurance sales or high-performing sales environment.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Grow your book: generate new leads through digital outreach, referrals, networking, and community engagement.
• Understand client needs: assess individuals and businesses, tailor insurance solutions.
• Deliver competitive quotes: use rating tools and insurer portals for personal and commercial lines.
• Negotiate with underwriters and insurers to balance coverage and pricing.
• Close with precision: finalize new business and document client details in the BMS.
• Maintain relationships through policy terms and renewals with proactive service.
• Identify cross-sell and upsell opportunities to grow retention and value.
