Job summary

STEP Energy Services Ltd. seeks a Journeyman Heavy Equipment Technician for frac service field work. You will be remote with a 15/6 rotation, performing maintenance, diagnostics and root-cause analysis across STEP equipment. The role emphasizes safety and high standards in field operations.

You will mentor operators, attend safety drills, and uphold STEP's HSE policies while working with a team to ensure reliable equipment and environment protection.

• Provide input on root cause fact finding and post-failure strategy.

Responsibilities

• Assist with investigation, diagnosis and root cause analysis.
• Mentor and train operators to inspect, service and maintain units.
• Perform preventative maintenance and repairs of service equipment.
• Understand mechanical, iron and electronics preventative maintenance processes.
• Adhere to STEP safe work procedures and practices.
