Job summary

Forum Energy Technologies, Inc. seeks a Field Service Technician to prepare and deploy downhole tools on service and drilling rigs, and to assist in tool maintenance in all weather conditions. You will communicate with clients and internal teams, provide technical troubleshooting, and maintain field records.

A strong safety focus and 6+ years in oil/gas are preferred. Must have a valid driver’s license and be willing to travel and work on call.

Qualifications

• 6+ years field experience in oil and gas, including service and drilling rigs.
• Experience with drilling & completions equipment and downhole tools is an asset.
• Valid safety tickets are an asset and a clean driving record helpful.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and deploy downhole tools and equipment on service and drilling rigs.
• Assist in tool preparation to ensure timely location arrival.
• Supervise tool assembly and deployment on site.
• Communicate effectively with clients and internal teams.
• Provide technical assistance and troubleshooting to site operators.
• Maintain field records and complete tickets; follow safety procedures.
