Job summary

Pathlion is seeking a Grant Processing Advisor for remote work to support the Affordability Grant Team within the Child Care Administration Branch. You will help administer grants and provide clear information to parents, staff, educators, and providers.

Key duties include resolving complaints, tracking data across systems with high accuracy, guiding operators in reporting, and collaborating with internal teams to ensure consistent policy application. This role reports to Senior Policy Analysts.

Responsibilities

• Support the ministry in the administration of childcare affordability funding to reduce childcare fees.
• Respond to diverse stakeholders (parents, childcare staff, educators and providers) by providing clear, accurate and timely information regarding grant policies.
• Assist in resolving complaints and complex issues related to affordability funding, ensuring timely and appropriate follow-up.
• Track, analyze, and maintain data with a high degree of accuracy across databases and reporting systems.
• Guide childcare operators in meeting all Affordability Grant financial reporting requirements.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure consistent interpretation and application of affordability funding policies.
