Responsibilities

• Coordinate end-to-end international and domestic freight shipments (air, sea, road, rail).
• Prepare and process shipping documentation (bills of lading, customs declarations, invoices).
• Liaise with airlines, shipping lines, trucking companies and other service providers to book cargo space and negotiate rates.
• Track shipments in real-time and provide updates to clients on status and delays.
• Ensure compliance with customs regulations and import/export requirements in various countries.
• Resolve issues during shipping, such as delays, damage or holds.
• Maintain records of shipments, costs and client communications in the forwarding system.
• Build and maintain relationships with clients, carriers and overseas partners.
• Identify opportunities to optimize routes for cost and transit time efficiency.
• Process invoices and ensure timely payment.
