Job summary

Dawson Group is seeking an Accounts Payable Coordinator to manage invoicing, vendor payments, and account reconciliation from Kamloops, BC. This permanent, full-time role offers flexible work options, including work-from-home or office presence, with potential travel to the Kamloops office for remote staff based in western Canada.

You will support accurate financial operations, process payables, and collaborate with operations to ensure proper coding and timely payments.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years in accounts payable or related finance role
• Acquiring vendor invoices from various sources and ensuring entry into approval workflow
• Working with operations to ensure correct invoice coding
• Ensuring vendors and employees are paid correctly with remittance details
• Conducting paper cheque runs and physical mailing as required
• Experience with Sage 300 CRE or Timberscan is an asset

Responsibilities

• Process accounts payable invoices and manage vendor payments
• Maintain accurate accounts and perform account reconciliations
• Collaborate with operations to ensure correct invoice coding
• Prepare and review fuel billing and uploads
• Provide ad-hoc reporting as required
• Respond to vendor inquiries promptly and professionally
