Job summary

Supabase seeks a Customer Solutions Architect to drive adoption across diverse customers, from startups to brands with scaled workloads. You will uncover business/technical requirements, design solutions on the Supabase platform, and lead proof-of-value implementations, while guiding customers to growth and optimization across support, product, and engineering teams.

You will join a globally remote team, collaborating with Growth, Success, and Engineering to size deals, provide usage estimates,

Qualifications

• 6+ years of relevant work experience in Solutions Architecture, Database Engineering, or similar.
• Strong background with relational database management systems such as PostgreSQL or MySQL.
• Background in web application development, with familiarity with Python, C# and popular JavaScript frameworks (React, Vue, Svelte) as well as Node.js.
• Very strong communication skills, particularly of technical concepts.
• Well-organized and effective storyteller with meaningful interpersonal skills.
• Experience with project management, business analysis and revenue operations tools.
• Previous experience leading customer-facing engagements to deliver meaningful technical and business value.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical discovery to uncover business and technical objectives, set appropriate expectations of the Supabase platform, and define success criteria.
• Design, build, and present Supabase platform demonstrations to high-value customers.
• Size deals, provide anticipated usage estimates, and identify workloads with Growth team.
• Collaborate with customers to determine the technical scope of a proof-of-value.
• Set proof-of-value timelines, business outcomes, and success criteria.
• Onboard new customers through emails, docs, guides, and webinars.
• Deliver architecture assessments, database design and performance optimization for customers.
• Act as internal champion and gather platform feedback for improvements.
• Build trust-based relationships with customers and advocate for their needs within Supabase.
