Job summary
MOBIA Technology Innovations Inc. is seeking a Solution Architect to work remotely in Canada, partnering with Account Executives to shape strategic solutions and proposals.
The role focuses on translating business challenges into scalable technology, balancing technical excellence with delivery outcomes, and guiding opportunities from discovery through to delivery handoff. The ideal candidate has client-facing presales or solution architecture experience, strong cloud and containerization
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, CS, Engineering, or related field.
- Several years of client-facing presales or solution architecture experience.
- Experience leading discovery sessions and developing solutions.
- Strong cross-domain knowledge across cloud, cybersecurity, data, AI.
- Familiar with cloud platforms, automation, Kubernetes/OpenShift, containerization, enterprise infrastructure.
- Experience proposing SOWs, estimates, and professional services delivery.
- Ability to lead opportunities from discovery through proposal development and sales-to-delivery transition.
- Experience with partners, channels, or consulting environments is an asset.
- Certifications like AWS/Azure/GCP, Kubernetes, Red Hat, HashiCorp, or AI/cloud credentials are assets.
- Excellent communication skills; ability to explain complex concepts to technical and business stakeholders.
- Bilingual French and English is an asset.
Responsibilities
- Lead technical discovery sessions with clients to understand objectives, challenges, outcomes, and underlying needs.
- Translate business outcomes into scalable technology solutions across cloud, infrastructure, platform engineering, security, data, and AI.
- Own the development of high-level proposals, SOWs, and effort estimates reflecting requirements and timelines.
- Partner with Account Executives to support sales opportunities and position solutions within MOBIA’s partner ecosystem.
- Collaborate with technical teams to validate approaches and ensure a smooth handoff from presales into delivery.
- Provide high-level delivery timelines and transition information for a seamless handover.
- Identify opportunities for service improvement and contribute to MOBIA’s solution offerings.
- Communicate complex concepts clearly to both technical stakeholders and business leaders.
