Dexterra Group in Canada is seeking a Camp Manager to oversee all camp and catering operations on site, including housekeeping and kitchen departments. The role offers a remote camp lifestyle with meals and accommodations provided, plus travel to site locations across Canada.

The position requires 5–8 years of experience in remote camps, strong communication, and relevant safety certifications. You will manage staff, safety standards, budgets and reporting in a demanding camp environment.

Qualifications

• 5–8 years of experience in Remote Camps.
• Exceptional oral and written communication skills.
• Valid Advanced Food Safety certificate is required.
• Valid First Aid Certification is an asset.
• Education in Food and Beverage or Hospitality Management considered an asset.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Office365, SharePoint, Excel, etc.).
• Must have an acceptable Criminal Records Check.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day camp operations, including housekeeping and kitchen.
• Uphold health and safety standards in camp and workplace.
• Meet with clients and address requests promptly and effectively.
• Supervise, train and manage staff performance and scheduling.
• Inspect camp facilities, food quality, inventory and budget management.
• Prepare and submit weekly/monthly reports.
