Job summary

Dexterra Group is seeking a Third Cook for remote Manitoba camp operations. The role involves day and night shifts, preparing a range of meals for bagged lunches, breakfast, and dinner, while upholding high safety and presentation standards.

Camp setting requires a safety-sensitive approach, criminal background check, and pre-employment drug testing. Travel is provided to Winnipeg-area hubs; private accommodations, meals, and amenities are included.

Qualifications

• Food Safe certification preferred.
• Criminal background check required.
• Pre-employment drug and alcohol testing required.
• Willing to commit to a 2 weeks on/1 week off rotation.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Camp kitchen experience beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe, clean working environment at all times.
• Prepare hot and cold items for bagged lunches, breakfast and dinner.
• Prepare made-to-order sandwiches and salads.
• Ensure food safety standards are followed and HACCP logs completed.
• Transport used kitchenware to dishwashing areas and assist with cleaning.
• Receive and store supplies and assist with deliveries.
