Job summary

Dexterra Group is hiring a General Helper for our remote camp in Jenpeg, Manitoba. Earn up to $1,445 per week with meals, accommodations, and travel provided, on a 2 weeks on/1 week off schedule. The role supports the kitchen team in a fast-paced environment, with opportunities to grow within an industry leader.

Work involves daily kitchen tasks, strict safety standards, and ability to work independently as part of a team. Fluency in English and ability to pass a background check are required.

Qualifications

• Kitchen experience is an asset but not required.
• Must be located above the 53rd Parallel (Northern Manitoba).
• Fluent in English with strong written and verbal skills.
• Able to pass a Criminal Background Check.
• Able to achieve 80%+ on the WHMIS test.

Responsibilities

• Wash, scrub, clean, and sanitize designated kitchen and dining areas.
• Clean kitchen and dining room floors and tables.
• Clean refrigerators, ovens, and other kitchen equipment.
• Wash pots, dishes, glasses, cups, etc., after each meal and as required.
• Deep cleaning as required.
• Restock and rotate desserts, sandwiches, beverages, and condiments.
• Assist in loading, unloading, and placing supplies and inventory.
• Assist in making grab-and-go food items.
• Ensure health and safety regulations and quality standards are maintained.
