Job summary

Allstate Insurance Company of Canada is seeking a bilingual Instructional Designer to join Learning & Development. This remote role partners with stakeholders to analyze needs and design engaging learning solutions in English and French, using ADDIE, SAM, and other adult-learning methods.

You will lead end-to-end projects, collaborate with SMEs, and measure impact with robust assessments while contributing to a culture of continuous improvement across the organization.

Qualifications

• Experience designing learning solutions using authoring tools (Articulate, Camtasia, Vyond)
• Knowledge of instructional design methodologies and adult learning principles
• Bilingual in English and French (oral and written)
• Ability to manage learning projects end-to-end with stakeholders
• Experience designing technical or complex learning content
• Experience using digital adoption tools (e.g., Whatfix) to embed guidance in systems

Responsibilities

• Consult with business to analyze learning needs and design targeted solutions
• Lead instructional design projects from intake through handover
• Recommend learning strategies and delivery methods based on audience
• Plan, design and develop English and French learning solutions
• Apply ADDIE, SAM and Bloom’s Taxonomy to create engaging experiences
• Design learning assessments and evaluation approaches
• Communicate project status, risks and timelines to stakeholders
• Share lessons learned and best practices to improve L&D
