Job summary

Outlier is hiring detail-oriented reviewers to assess AI-generated media. You will hold live English conversations with AI voice models, compare image and video pairs, and explain in writing what looked or sounded off.

Work remotely on your schedule and contribute to improving AI systems in real-world contexts. Ideal candidates are fluent in English, demonstrate strong attention to detail, and can write concise explanations.

Qualifications

• Fluent English with clear written communication.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to be patient and thorough.
• Experience writing short, evidence-based explanations or reviews.
• Ability to think quickly and make clear decisions when options have flaws.
• Comfortable discussing realistic scenarios in natural conversation.

Responsibilities

• Holding a live, scenario-based conversation in English with AI voice models and rating how natural and clear each one sounds.
• Comparing pairs of AI-generated images and videos and judging which better follows the prompt.
• Inspecting outputs closely to spot problems like distorted anatomy, flickering or unnatural motion, text errors, and audio mismatches.
• Rating outputs across dimensions like adherence, quality, and realism, and writing a concise English explanation of what was observed.
• Image evaluations: compare two AI-generated images for the same prompt and select the better one; some tasks involve comparing edited images with originals.
• Video evaluations: rank AI-generated videos against prompts or edited clips.
• Video caption labeling: create precise captions for first-person videos of people or robots performing tasks.
