Job summary

Outlier is seeking detail-oriented English-speaking contributors to help train AI models. You will participate in live conversations with AI voice models, rank naturalness, and compare AI-generated images and videos for prompt accuracy.

You’ll inspect outputs for issues such as distorted features or misaligned audio, rate across multiple dimensions, and provide concise, evidence-based explanations in English. Flexible remote freelance work is available.

Qualifications

• Fluent English speaker with strong, clear written communication and comfortable with natural, everyday conversational speech.
• Pursuing or holding a Bachelor’s degree or above.
• Strong attention to detail, with the patience to look and listen closely, and to replay or zoom in when something seems off.
• Comfortable thinking on your feet and talking through realistic situations in a natural, conversational way.
• Experience writing short, evidence-based explanations or reviews.
• Comfortable making a clear decision when both options have flaws.

Responsibilities

• Hold live, scenario-based conversations in English with AI voice models and rate naturalness, usefulness, and clarity.
• Compare pairs of AI-generated images and videos and judge which follows the prompt better.
• Inspect outputs closely to spot issues like distorted anatomy, flickering, or mismatched audio.
• Provide ratings across dimensions and write a concise explanation in English detailing what you saw or heard.
