Job summary

Outlier is seeking English-speaking contributors to help train AI models through live conversations, image and video comparisons, and detailed written feedback.

This freelance, remote role offers flexible hours. You’ll assess naturalness, usefulness and clarity, provide explanations in English, and earn up to USD 18 per hour plus additional incentives via Missions.

A quiet workspace, reliable internet, and your own work must be your own; onboarding may include a short spoken English check.

Qualifications

• Fluent English speaker with strong, clear written communication.
• Bachelor’s degree or above.
• Strong attention to detail, with the patience to look and listen closely.
• Comfortable thinking on your feet and talking through realistic situations.
• Experience writing short, evidence-based explanations or reviews.
• Able to make clear decisions when both options have flaws.

Responsibilities

• Holding a live, scenario-based conversation in English with AI voice models and ranking outputs.
• Comparing AI-generated images and videos and judging adherence to prompts.
• Inspecting outputs closely to spot issues like distorted anatomy, flickering, or misaligned audio.
• Rating outputs across dimensions and writing specific explanations in English.
