Outlier is seeking freelance English-speaking contributors to train AI models with English conversations, image/video comparisons, and detailed written explanations. This remote opportunity offers flexible hours and requires careful attention to detail to spot issues in AI outputs.

You will participate in live conversations, rate model performance, and provide clear, evidence-based feedback in English. Screening and onboarding, including a brief English check, are part of getting started.

Qualifications

• Fluent English speaker with strong, clear written communication.
• Pursuing or holding a Bachelor’s degree or above.
• Strong attention to detail, with patience to look and listen closely and replay/zoom in when something seems off.
• Comfortable thinking on your feet and discussing realistic scenarios in a natural way.
• Experience writing short, evidence-based explanations or reviews.
• Able to make clear decisions when both options have flaws.

Responsibilities

• Hold live, scenario-based conversations in English with AI voice models and rate naturalness, usefulness, and clarity.
• Compare AI-generated images and videos and judge adherence to prompts.
• Inspect outputs closely, spotting issues like distorted anatomy, flickering, and text/audio mismatches.
• Provide written explanations in English detailing observations and reasoning.
