Job summary

Outlier is seeking English-speaking contributors to train AI models through live conversations, evaluations, and detailed feedback. This freelance role is remote with flexible hours, ideal for self-motivated, detail-oriented individuals in Canada.

You’ll rate AI outputs for naturalness, usefulness, and clarity, compare AI-generated images and videos, and provide evidence-based explanations in English. Prior writing experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Fluent English speaker with clear written communication.
• Pursuing or holding a Bachelor’s degree or above.
• Strong attention to detail and patience to replay/zoom in when something seems off.
• Comfortable thinking on your feet and discussing scenarios in a natural, conversational way.
• Experience writing short, evidence-based explanations or reviews.
• Able to make a clear decision when both options have flaws.

Responsibilities

• Hold live, scenario-based conversations in English with AI voice models and rate naturalness, usefulness, and clarity.
• Compare pairs of AI-generated images and videos and judge which follows the prompt better.
• Inspect outputs closely for issues like distorted anatomy, flickering, or misaligned audio; replay or zoom in to spot problems.
• Rate outputs across dimensions like adherence, quality, and realism, then write a concise English explanation of what you saw or heard.
