Job summary

Outlier is seeking English-speaking contributors to train AI models by evaluating live conversations, prompts, and media outputs. This freelance role offers remote, flexible hours and involves ranking model responses for naturalness and usefulness.

Ideal candidates have a Bachelor’s degree or higher, exceptional attention to detail, and a proven ability to articulate observations in clear, concise English. Payment is hourly with performance incentives based on project metrics.

Qualifications

• Fluent English speaker with strong, clear written communication and comfortable with natural, everyday conversational speech.

Responsibilities

• Hold live, scenario-based conversations in English with AI voice models and rate naturalness, usefulness, and clarity.
• Compare AI-generated images and videos and judge adherence to prompts.
• Inspect outputs closely to spot issues like distorted anatomy, flickering, or text/audio mismatches.
• Provide concise, evidence-based explanations in English describing what you saw/heard.
