Job summary

Outlier is seeking fluent English speakers to help train AI models through live conversations, image and video comparisons, and detailed written feedback.

This freelance, remote role offers flexible hours. You will rate outputs on naturalness, clarity, and adherence, and provide clear English explanations of your judgments.

Compensation includes up to USD 18 per hour with incentive bonuses; a brief screening and onboarding may apply.

Qualifications

• Fluent English with strong written communication
• Bachelor’s degree or above
• Excellent attention to detail and patience to replay/zoom in
• Comfortable thinking on your feet and describing realistic scenarios
• Experience writing short, evidence-based explanations or reviews
• Able to make clear decisions when options have flaws

Responsibilities

• Hold live, scenario-based conversations in English with AI voice models, then rate naturalness, usefulness, and clarity
• Compare pairs of AI-generated images and videos and judge how well they follow the prompt
• Inspect outputs closely for issues like distorted anatomy, flickering or unnatural motion, text errors, and audio-video mismatch
• Rate each output across dimensions and write a specific English explanation describing what you saw or heard
