Job summary

Outlier is seeking detail-oriented, fluent English speakers to help train AI models by evaluating live conversations and multimedia outputs. This freelance, remote role offers flexible hours and the chance to contribute to cutting-edge AI research.

You will rate naturalness, usefulness, and clarity of AI voice models, compare AI-generated images and videos, and write concise explanations in English describing what you observed. A Bachelor’s degree and strong attention to detail are preferred.

Qualifications

• Fluent English speaker with strong, clear written communication and comfortable with natural, everyday conversational speech.
• Bachelor’s degree or above preferred.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to replay or zoom in to spot issues.
• Comfortable thinking on your feet and describing realistic scenarios clearly.
• Experience writing short, evidence-based explanations or reviews.
• Able to make clear decisions when options have flaws.

Responsibilities

• Hold live, scenario-based conversations in English with AI voice models and rank naturalness, usefulness and clarity.
• Compare AI-generated images and videos and judge adherence to prompts.
• Inspect outputs closely to spot distortions, flicker, or misaligned audio/text and note issues.
• Provide concise, English explanations detailing observations and rationales.
