Qualifikationen

• Business-related university degree/college diploma or combination of business, agriculture and lending courses.
• 1-5 years commercial lending experience.
• Proven experience managing a diverse business portfolio including small to medium-sized businesses and agricultural enterprises.
• Knowledge of the Credit Union system would be an asset.
• Decisive and firm while showing empathy.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Negotiating skills.
• Excellent decision making and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent sales and service skills.
• Good organizational and time management skills.
• Must have a reliable vehicle as traveling is required.

Aufgaben

• Apply relationship selling and management to provide financial solutions to commercial and agricultural members and prospects.
• Accountable for risk management of the commercial loan portfolio and quality of information and credit recommendations.
• Develop business with local agriculture and business communities and expand share of profitable relationships.
• Attend industry events and participate in local business associations to strengthen Kawartha's presence.
• Liaise with professional service providers as required.
• Work with branch teams to meet members' needs profitably.
• Retain and grow commercial and agricultural relationships; visit clients annually.
