Job summary

Scotiabank is hiring a Senior Client Relationship Manager for Agriculture Banking in Ontario. The role focuses on growing an agricultural client portfolio, cross-selling Bank products, and maintaining strong client relationships in Canada’s agriculture sector.

The position requires solid credit knowledge, strong sales skills, and the ability to travel within Ontario to engage with clients and networks. Undergraduate business/economics education is preferred.

Qualifications

• Previous work experience in Agricultural Banking is preferred.
• Proven strong sales and closing skills.
• Very strong networking ability.
• Very strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong relationship management skills.
• Strong Credit skills and experience preparing credit applications.
• Knowledge of commercial lending and deposit products.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage a marketing strategy for sustainable growth.
• Maintain an ongoing sales pipeline and calling program.
• Identify prospects and referrals from networks.
• Analyze market data to prioritize opportunities and pricing.
• Coordinate with CSA and product specialists to meet client needs.
• Travel within the territory to engage clients and networks.
