Job summary

Kawartha Credit Union Limited is seeking a Commercial Account Manager to support members remotely from anywhere within Canada, while residing within 3 hours of Peterborough, ON. The role offers 37.5 hours weekly and an annual pay range of $65,868.92 to $77,493, plus pension and benefits.

You will apply relationship selling, manage commercial loan portfolios, perform annual risk reviews, and develop business through referrals while collaborating with branches and service teams.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Commercial Real Estate (CRE), Hospitality and Construction experience
• 5+ years commercial lending experience
• Knowledge of the Credit Union system would be an asset
• Able to be decisive and firm, while demonstrating empathy
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Excellent decision making and problem-solving skills
• Excellent sales and service skills
• Good organizational and time management skills

Responsibilities

• Apply relationship selling and relationship management principles and techniques to all Commercial members and prospects, providing complete financial solutions to meet all commercial and personal banking needs.
• Accountable for risk management of the commercial loan portfolio as well as the quality of information, analysis, profitability and credit recommendations in executing sales of credit/non-credit products and services to Commercial members and prospects.
• Maintain an effective business development and community involvement strategy to protect and expand share of profitable Commercial business, utilizing an extensive network of referral resources.
• Liaise with professional service providers such as Central 1, lawyers, real estate appraisers, credit reporting/collection agencies and insurers, as required.
• Work co-operatively with all Credit Union branch or department personnel to identify opportunities to ensure members needs and expectations are profitably met and/or exceeded.
• Retain and expand Commercial and Agricultural relationships to achieve portfolio retention, sales, service and profitability objectives and proactively develop relationships with new Commercial members.
• Complete annual credit reviews in a timely manner according to policy, coordinating financial information requirements with the Commercial Administration Department;
• Analyze information received to assess risk; develop action plans to minimize Credit Union exposure where appropriate. Identify commercial and retail opportunities. Review pricing and submit recommendation for renewal for approval. Visit clients on a regular basis to ensure loan security is protected.

Description

Location: Remote Position. The successful candidate must reside within 3 hours of Kawartha Financial Services, Regional Office, Peterborough ON

Hours:Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week

Rate of Pay:$65,868.92 - $77,493 annually (plus pension and applicable benefits)

This role may be filled at different levels, the successful candidate will be placed accordingly based on their experience.

As a Commercial Account Manager, you will:

• Apply relationship selling and relationship management principles and techniques to all Commercial members and prospects, providing complete financial solutions to meet all commercial and personal banking needs.
