Job summary

Giveandgo is seeking an Accounts Receivable Associate in Toronto, Ontario. You will process cash receipts, manage customer deductions, monitor credit exposure, and enter data into the ERP system while ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

Responsibilities include posting daily cheques, generating debit/credit notes, handling chargebacks, and contacting customers for payments in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Completion of college diploma or university degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field of study.
• Minimum 2 years of previous experience in an Accounts Receivable role.
• Experience working with SAP ERP systems (including modules related to production, supply chain, inventory, or manufacturing processes) is strongly preferred. Experience with Microsoft Navision or Visual Manufacturing is considered an asset.

Responsibilities

• Prepare routine AR batch entries and posts cash receipts transactions to subledger.
• Process customer deductions and obtain relevant approvals and generate required debit / credit notes.
• Process accounts receivable chargebacks.
• Contact customers for payments and follow-up on issues.
• Perform periodic reconciliations on major customer accounts.
• Provide effective and timely issue resolution pertaining to invoices and credits and to follow up as required.
• In-depth knowledge and understanding of AR control accounts, ledger entries, etc.
• Maintain confidentiality and high degree of professionalism.
