Job summary

Mattr is seeking an Accounts Payable Coordinator in a remote-first capacity with occasional onsite in Calgary or Toronto. You will ensure accurate invoice processing, vendor payments, intercompany transactions, and expense controls while maintaining strong vendor relationships.

You will handle 2+ years of full-cycle AP experience, use ERP systems like SAP/Oracle/Dynamics, and leverage AP automation tools to improve accuracy and cycle times. A proactive, detail-oriented approach is essential.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of full-cycle accounts payable or related accounting experience.
• Experience with invoice processing, PO matching, and vendor statement reconciliation.
• Proficiency with ERP/accounting systems and Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Experience with intercompany processing and month-end AP close in a multi-entity environment.
• Hands-on experience with AP automation and expense-management platforms (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, Concur, Coupa).

Responsibilities

• Process and post vendor invoices to the general ledger with high accuracy.
• Match invoices to PO and receipts using 2-/3-way matching.
• Investigate discrepancies with procurement and stakeholders.
• Prepare and execute vendor payment runs (EFT, cheque, wire).
• Verify payment terms and banking information before processing.
• Reconcile vendor statements and respond to inquiries.
• Maintain vendor master data including banking and tax details.
• Process intercompany invoices and reconcile intercompany balances.
• Review employee expense reports for policy compliance and documentation.
• Support month-end close with reconciliations and accruals.
