Job summary

Fullscript seeks an Accounting Manager to lead the Accounts Payable team and drive end-to-end accounting improvements. You will design and execute an automation roadmap to reduce manual work and improve accuracy, while ensuring tight controls and integration with the GL and P&L.

You will partner with Accounting and systems teams to scale processes, implement AI in finance workflows, and strengthen audit readiness and reporting accuracy across the organization.

Qualifications

• Experience as Accounting Manager with full-cycle accounting, GL, reconciliations, and period-end close.
• Knowledge of P2P, vendor invoices, purchasing, approvals, and GL impact.
• Experience implementing AI/automation in accounting workflows; ownership from discovery to adoption.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Accounts Payable team, set priorities, ensure timely processing and reconciliations.
• Map and optimize P2P workflows to reduce manual tasks and errors.
• Build an automation roadmap toward touchless processing with controls.
• Own AI, automation, and process improvement projects from discovery to implementation.
• Ensure transactions flow into GL and P&L and support accurate period-end reporting.
• Improve connections between purchasing, receiving, invoices, approvals, payments, and reconciliations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional partners to redesign workflows and resolve root causes.
• Strengthen controls, audit trails, and documentation as processes automate.
• Define and track metrics like touchless rate and processing time.
