Job summary

Elby Professional Recruitment is partnering with a community-focused organization in Ontario to recruit an Accounting Manager on a 12-month contract. You will oversee daily to quarterly accounting operations, supervise a small team, and contribute to treasury activities and profit sharing.

• Lead daily, monthly, and quarterly accounting operations, including payables, receivables, reconciliation, reporting, and dashboards.
• Oversee year-end processes, internal audits, external audits (with EY), and AGM reporting.
• Supervise a small team of 3 accounting representatives, providing coaching and feedback.
• Contribute to treasury work and profit share payouts.
• Collaborate closely with the Director of Finance and other finance stakeholders.
• Support the organization through a banking system replacement project.
