Job summary

Leap Tools Inc. is seeking an experienced accounting professional to own parts of the monthly close, manage tax and filings, and coach a growing team. You will balance accuracy with deadlines and help scale processes as the finance function expands.

You’ll leverage NetSuite and AI tools to improve workflows, prepare financial reporting, and support budgeting and forecasting. This remote-friendly role offers global collaboration and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• CPA designation and 7+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• Experience using AI tools to improve workflows and support analysis.
• Experience reviewing others’ work and coaching, with supervisory experience.
• Strong GAAP knowledge with balance sheet reconciliations and finance prep.
• Experience with Canadian/US tax returns and filing deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Own assigned areas of the monthly and annual close with journal entries and reconciliations.
• Support revenue accounting, billing reconciliations, and general ledger issues.
• Review and coach junior team members on reconciliations and reporting.
• Prepare working papers and respond to questions from external advisors.
• Improve processes and controls using NetSuite, spreadsheets, and automation.
