Job summary

Irving Oil Ltd. is seeking a co-op student to join the Reliability Team at the Saint John refinery. You will support long-term reliability initiatives, analyze data, and help create maintenance plans to sustain equipment. The role combines office work with practical exposure to refinery operations.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in Mechanical Engineering completing 2nd, 3rd or 4th year of study.
• Co-op / internship candidate with interest in reliability initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Support and execute long-term reliability initiatives for the Refinery.
• Analyze data, research as required, and create long-term plans to sustain equipment.
• Assist with bill of materials updates, stock and warehouse cleanup, and equipment management plans.
• Role is primarily office-based to develop understanding of technical concepts.
