Job summary

Imperial Oil in Calgary invites applications for a student/co‑op internship in Mechanical/Chemical Engineering. You will work in Facilities Engineering, receive coaching from Professional Engineers, and contribute to projects adding real value to operations.

• University student available for work terms beginning January or May 2027.

Responsibilities

• Manage engineering design changes for facilities modifications.
• Collaborate with operations and technical personnel to optimize plant production.
• Support reviews of technical requests and equipment changes.
• Monitor area KPIs and recommend optimization opportunities.
• Apply industry codes and best practices to engineered designs.
