Express Employment Professionals - Ottawa East is seeking a Business Development Representative to drive new business, build strategic partnerships, and tailor staffing solutions for diverse client needs in the Ottawa area.

You will engage with C-suite and HR leaders, expand the client base, and collaborate with recruitment to ensure top-tier candidate delivery. A hybrid work model and strong commission structure support growth and recognition.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience in sales or business development, ideally within a B2B environment.
• Local candidates in or near Ottawa able to meet clients in person as needed.
• Proven ability to generate and grow accounts with strong communication and relationship skills.

Responsibilities

• Proactively pursue and secure new business opportunities through outreach and networking.
• Build and nurture relationships with C-suite executives, HR leaders, and other decision-makers.
• Assess client needs and present staffing solutions across multiple service areas.
• Partner with recruitment to ensure seamless talent delivery and candidate experience.

• Negotiate and resolve issues to strengthen client relationships.
