Job summary

Interior Health in Grand Forks is hiring a relief part-time 0.87 FTE Rehabilitation Assistant at the Hardy View Lodge long-term care facility. The position is temporary until February 2028 or the return of the current incumbent.

Hours are Monday to Friday, 08:30-15:30. Under clinical direction of a Physiotherapist, Occupational Therapist or Speech Language Pathologist, the Rehab Assistant works within a multidisciplinary team to carry out rehabilitative plans and monitor residents’ progression.

Qualifications

• Completion of a recognized Rehabilitation Assistant Program or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
• Current valid B.C. Driver’s License if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Under the clinical direction of a Physiotherapist, Occupational Therapist or Speech Language Pathologist, the Rehabilitation Assistant functions as a member of the multidisciplinary team in meeting the needs of the client.
