Interior Health in Kamloops is seeking a relief part-time 0.66 FTE Rehabilitation Assistant in Acute Care at RIH. Under clinical direction of a Physiotherapist, Occupational Therapist or Speech Language Pathologist, you support rehabilitative treatment plans and monitor a patient’s progression.

This role involves working within a multidisciplinary team, with rotating days and hours from 08:00 to 16:00, to provide safe, compassionate care until March 2027 or the return of the incumbent.

Qualifications

• Completion of a recognized Rehabilitation Assistant Program or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
• Current valid B.C. Driver’s License if applicable.

About the role

Under the clinical direction of a Physiotherapist, Occupational Therapist or Speech Language Pathologist, the Rehabilitation Assistant functions as a member of the multidisciplinary team in meeting the needs of the client. The Rehabilitation Assistant carries out rehabilitative treatment plans and programs and assists the therapist in monitoring and evaluating patients/residents’ progression.
