Job summary

Interior Health Authority in Kamloops is seeking a relief part-time Rehabilitation Assistant (0.66 FTE) to support acute care services. The role operates on rotating days from 08:00 to 16:00, with anticipated duration until March 2027 or until the current incumbent returns.

Under clinical direction from the physiotherapy/occupational therapy or speech-language pathology team, you will assist in rehabilitative plans and help monitor patient progress as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Under the clinical direction of a Physiotherapist, Occupational Therapist or Speech Language Pathologist, the Rehabilitation Assistant functions as a member of the multidisciplinary team.
• The Rehabilitation Assistant carries out rehabilitative treatment plans and programs and assists the therapist in monitoring and evaluating patients/residents’ progression.
