Job summary

Britannia Community Services Centre Society in Vancouver is seeking a Regular Part-time Out of School Care Educator for our School Age program. The position is 27.5 hours per week, with split shifts from 7:30–9:00 am and 2:00–6:00 pm, Monday to Friday.

Start date ASAP. The role offers wage of $23.02/hour plus a $6.00/hour ECE wage enhancement, generous benefits, and 15 days vacation prorated in the first year.

• Must hold a School Age Certificate.
• Responsible Adult Certificate or ECE/ECEA certification.
• Current First Aid Certification.
• Clear criminal record check.

Britannia Child Care Department envisions early education and care spaces where children, educators, and families walk alongside each other to co-create diverse, equitable and respectful communities.

We are a successful not-for-profit provider located in Woodland Drive, Vancouver, and have been serving the Grandview-Woodland community since 1973. Our child care facility consists of one 3-5 program and two school age programs, soon to be three! Our dedicated out of school care space provides care for children ages 5 to 12 for before and after school, professional development days and during the Winter, Spring and Summer breaks.
