Job summary

Mississippi River Health Alliance is seeking a Registered Practical Nurse for summer relief in the Medical Surgical/Complex Continuing Care program. The role is temporary part-time, with responsibilities to provide quality nursing care to patients and families and to help maintain and develop policies under supervision.

Mandatory requirements include current Ontario RN registration, CPR and ACLS, and two years of medical/surgical experience; a Cardiac Care Course is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be registered with the College of Nurses of Ontario as a Registered Nurse.
• Current CPR and ACLS.
• Cardiac Care Course (preferred).

Job Description

The incumbent is responsible for providing quality nursing care to patients and their families as well as the maintenance and development of policies and procedures under supervision.
