Job summary

Mississippi River Health Alliance in Canada seeks a Registered Practical Nurse for a permanent part-time Medical/Surgical unit. The role covers 416.25 hours over 18 weeks with day and night shifts. Start date: 2026-01-08. You will provide safe, high-quality care and work with the care team to maintain patient safety.

Mandatory: Ontario RPN registration and CPR. Prior Medical/Surgical experience is preferred. All certifications must be provided during assessment.

Qualifications

• Current registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario as an RPN.
• Current CPR certification.
• Experience as an RPN in a Medical/Surgical unit preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality patient care in a Medical/Surgical unit.
• Attend to day/night shifts as assigned.
• Adhere to safety, policies, and patient/family-centered care approach.
• Collaborate with the care team to ensure patient safety.
